About Mike
Mike is a director, actor, translator, and clown. He is the Co-Artistic Director and co-founder of Seattle's Dacha Theatre, which specializes in site-specific productions, immersive spectacles and original work. He frequently directs in non-traditional spaces, working to blur the line between audiences and performers. Mike is drawn to physical theatre and has trained in Commedia dell’Arte, American Melodrama, Suzuki Movement, Slapstick, and Clown. He recently Associate Directed Edgar and Annabel (Pony World) and was the Assistant Director for As You Like It (Wooden O). His co-translation of Evgeny Schwartz’s The Snow Queen will be produced at the Wilma Theater in Philadelphia this November.
